A Model of Learning
There has been a lot of educational research devoted to improving student learning, but when all is said and done, there are just two main stages in the learning process.
The first stage of the model initiates the learning process and consists of three subcomponents:
tell me, show me, and let me discover. The second stage consolidates learning and includes: practice, making associations, and applying what has been learned.
